Alec Jones

Alec has taught regular weekly classes of Taiji and Qigong in Birmingham since 1986, and in South Shropshire since 2011 as well as online classes since 2017. Since Covid most classes have been online and Alec will soon be moving to Herefordshire where he will start new in-person classes as well as continuing to offer online sessions for individuals and small groups. “I began my study and practice of Taiji and Qigong in Bristol in 1981 with Rising Dragon Tai Chi School, eventually becoming a senior instructor within that school, before founding Dragon Spring Taiji & Qigong School at the start of 2010.” Alec is registered as a senior teacher with the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain and continues to deepen his understanding and practice of these wonderful arts.

Susanne Lin Jensen

Susanne began her journey with Taiji in Denmark. She moved to Scotland to do a degree in art at Glasgow School of Art. She began to teach Taiji classes and became a teacher with Rising Dragon Taiji in 1997. In 2013 she joined Dragon Spring Taiji School. Susanne teaches classes in Bearsden, Milngavie and Partick. She also does classes online. She combines teaching with working as a therapist, practicing Shiatsu and Kairos therapy. The modality of Qigong & Taiji, movement and treatment are a way to greater homeostasis. Throughout my time in Scotland Alec Jones has been my teacher and good friend. He is the linage holder of our line of Taiji. Susanne is a registered senior teacher with Tai Chi Union GB. Her business is called Taiji and Therapies www.taijiandtherapies.co.uk
