Alec Jones

Alec has taught regular weekly classes of Taiji and Qigong in Birmingham since 1986, and in South Shropshire since 2011 as well as online classes since 2017. Since Covid most classes have been online and Alec will soon be moving to Herefordshire where he will start new in-person classes as well as continuing to offer online sessions for individuals and small groups. “I began my study and practice of Taiji and Qigong in Bristol in 1981 with Rising Dragon Tai Chi School, eventually becoming a senior instructor within that school, before founding Dragon Spring Taiji & Qigong School at the start of 2010.” Alec is registered as a senior teacher with the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain and continues to deepen his understanding and practice of these wonderful arts.

Susanne Lin Jensen

Susanne teaches classes in Glasgow and sees people for one to one work in Bearsden and online. ‘I began my journey with Taiji in Denmark in 1989 with Lars Bo Christensen and when I moved to Scotland, I joined Rising Dragon Tai Chi School, I had some years of having my own school and I am now a Senior teacher with Dragon Spring Taiji & Qigong School. Throughout my time in Scotland Alec jones has been my teacher and friend.’ I started teaching in 1995 as an apprentice teacher and as qualified teacher in 1997 and I have been teaching since. I am registered as a senior teacher with the Tai Chi Union for GB. I organize and teach classes in Glasgow and I also do corporate work for Parkinson’s UK & the Maggie’s centre. I continue to study and develop my understanding of Taiji and Qigong.
